Karl Lagerfeld A/W10 (Collections)

So, I have been rather stagnant on my design blog, more will be posted very soon. Lately, I have been studying who is viewing this blog. Predominantly French, British, and American viewers/ readers. I am going to start translating all of my reports and write-ups on collections in french, et cetera! For the Bilingual-French readers, please contact me if the translations are incorrect. Thanks so much to all the new followers for appreciating Fashion and all things Beauty.
Much Love, Efren A.

A collection consisting of a basic Streamlined Silhouette, Lagerfeld uses tailored and structured elements in the collection, predominantly black patent and silver. An overall great and distinct collection from our beloved Karl!

Tim Hamilton A/W10 RTW (Collections)

Tim Hamilton brings back menswear. Hamilton's menswear collection is very similar to this fall collection. Very masculine tailoring always looks fabulous on women, this collection consisted of a lot of black, some blue, masculine tailoring, blazers, structured elements, PVC-like materials, and those gorgeous shoes. Gothic influences are seen throughout the collection. I absolutely love the Gothic look and silhouette, so I am in love with this collection.

I absolutely adore those classic "bob" haircuts!

Gareth Pugh A/W10 RTW (Collections)

With collections in Paris emphasizing the cleanliness and crispness of cut and line. Gareth Pugh knows exactly how to do just that! Previous collections in gray, black, and white, Pugh works with an achromatic color palette, and an apocalyptic conscious! Black was the predominant color for this collection, chevron pattern cuts, angular in nature, narrow silhouettes, with the distinct Gothic and Futurist touch that is Gareth Pugh.
I always look forward to seeing Pugh's collections, I grasp such whim and inspiration from his simple yet elaborate messages in the garments and collections. I adore the fabric manipulation on the jackets, Pugh accomplishes a difficult task by making angular lines look soft and fluid, which is very pleasant to the eye. Overall the collection was gorgeous and very marketable, these garments presented the "business side" of Pugh for the ready-to-wear market.

Pam Hogg A/W10 (Collections)

Models strut in eight inch "knee-length" platforms in black PVC, black crinoline head-dresses, skin tight semi-transparent tights, and gorgeously executed jumpsuits in the classic combination black & gold. While Siouxsie sings "The Last Beat of my Heart." Hogg's show was clever, dark, gothic influenced, and effortlessly mysterious.
