Jean Paul Gaultier F/W 2010 Haute Couture (Collections)

Burlesque dancer Dita Von Teese made her debut on Gaultier's runway, strutting in a floor-length black semi-shear gown with added curves such as shoulders and hips. Shoulder pads were everywhere; added to trenches and couture gowns. Gathered head-dresses, and hair skyrocketed into the air. Models with cigarette holders at hand. The collection; dominant, elegant, and poised. Blacks, leather browns and nude beige, furs in gradient white and gray, yellows-greens, and velvet royal blues. And a touch of lavender. Gaultier finishes the collection with a hybrid wedding gown, violin at hand. View the complete collection, here.

  3. I totally loved the headgear at JPG, so classic and yet shocking at the same time. Very Catherine Baba.

    everything sexy in fashion.
    20's flapper and 40's post-war
    all rolled into one.
