Menswear Collections S/S 2011

Oh, by the way. To all my dearest followers, most of them female. I will not review the Spring-Summer 2011 Menswear collections. I much rather review womenswear collections, since this is my main area of expertise.

As an exception, I enjoy seeing the new trends in menswear. So, I will post my favorite looks & trends on this post:

Alexander McQueen (left & right) and Haider Ackerman's (center) "Slouchy Modern-Dandy look", channeling the inner Oscar Wilde:

80's Revivalism at the House of Versace (left & right), Emporio Armani (center) was also feeling 80's flashback:

Acid Blue with gentle Sea-Foam green highlights at Roberto Cavalli (left) and Jil Sander (Center), Deep-Blue semi-transparent at Bottega Veneta (right):

Casual Neutrals and WHITE, WHITE, WHITE, at Gucci, Ermenegildo Zegna, Dolce & Gabbana and everywhere else during the Spring 2011 menswear collections:

Love the whites, and the Bottega Veneta blue... I love that you called it channeling the inner O. Wilde, I looove his work and can see the link between these looks and the portraits of him!

  2. Aww, Yes, I have been reading the Picture of Dorian Gray. Personally, I like this look. It's luxurious and casual at the same time. White is definitely big for Spring. And the blue is gorgeous.

    Keep in touch!

  3. I really noticed a difference between the Paris and Milan shows. In Milan the silhouette was still the 80s, tight and drain-pipey... The Parisian designers went much further down the relaxed route. Not quite sure why, but somehow the Italian brands have a much bigger focus on sex
