One of my first professional photoshoots. Garment details below.
Look 1: Black & White cocktail dress in knit houndstooth fabric with tulle detail at bust, butterfly sleeves
Look 2: Gown: Pleated Taffeta bodice & mirrored Organza train with Satin strap detail and high open leg.
Look 3: Mirrored fabric asymmetrical top with draped side detail.
All garments are completely hand-sewn.

High glam and sophistication at Prabal Gurung Fall 2011. By far one of my most favorite collections of NY Fashion Week thus far, I see a trend coming along for Fall/Winter, over-sized degrade furs, sheer, and dressy high style.

Alexander Wang Fall 2011 - Collections
Style.com credits Wang's collection to be a return to "sexy - tough - cool", I see a return to a de-constructed look, in the satin strips of the gowns and tops, cut sleeves & sides on a few knits. And a return to menswear inspired eveningwear and a new sense of glam cool, incredibly luxe with the use of fur, and satin and the occasional Menswear inspired shoe in metallic.
